Dexter Township has been made aware of scam emails being sent to applicants about zoning and permit applications. These fraudulent messages falsely claim to be from Township officials and request payment via wire transfer or emailed invoice. Important: Dexter Township never sends invoices or payment requests by email. All fees are handled
The Township building will be closed on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 for regular business, however we will be open to receive voters for the special election. The Township building will be open from 7:00am-8:00pm for elections only.

Reminder to Residents: The WWRA bins for regular recycling (glass, cardboard, plastic) will be unavailable the weekend of October 25 and during the Cleanup Day Event on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The WWRA bins will return to the parking lot on Monday, October 27, 2025
On Friday, October 3, 2025, Cadillac Asphalt, a Michigan Department of Transportation contractor working on behalf of the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC), began the second phase of the road improvements on Dexter-Pinckney Rd in Dexter Township.
